July Fourth at Haven
Our largest gathering yet unfolded over the Fourth of July weekend, as friends old and new came together for a joyous celebration of summer and connection at Landing, our lakeside retreat.
The air was filled with laughter, music, and the unmistakable spirit of Powder Haven. Families splashed down waterslides, explored the reservoir via boat and e-foil, and gathered under the stars for unforgettable evenings. Each dinner was a culinary delight, expertly prepared by our house chef using fresh ingredients from our own garden and local producers.
We were especially honored to welcome special guests John Carroll Kirby and his band, whose live set on the lakehouse lawn added a magical soundtrack to the weekend.
At Skylodge, our mountaintop clubhouse, we hosted artist Kayode Ojo and the Powder Art Foundation for an insightful conversation. Kayode shared a preview of his upcoming installation, a dense chandelier of chrome and crystal hanging amid the trees, which will make its debut this winter. Stay tuned for more details.
