Winter at Powder Haven isn’t just about the thrill of the trails, it’s also about the moments in between. With the completion of our new Nordic ski and snowshoe trail system in January 2025, we introduced not only miles of beautifully groomed paths through the aspens, but also two thoughtfully renovated warming huts designed to elevate the experience.
Nestled at key intervals—one just a half mile from our gear-up Launchpad and another 1.5 miles deeper into the trail system—these huts have quickly become beloved destinations for snowshoers, fat-tire bikers, and cross-country skiers alike. Whether you're setting out for a full day on the trails or just looking for a quiet winter escape, the huts provide a welcome pause in the journey.
Each cozy cabin is stocked with hot chocolate, light snacks, reading materials, and heaters. It’s the perfect spot to warm your hands, rest your legs, and reconnect with friends.
