Our New Lodge

It’s with great excitement that we share the vision for the new Powder Haven Lodge. This striking embodiment of modern alpine living is set to break ground in Summer 2025. Located beside our members’ Village Lift, this new lodge will serve as both a physical and social anchor for the Powder Haven community, where bold design meets the deep-rooted traditions of mountain life.
At the heart of this project is Hart Howerton, the award-winning architectural firm behind some of the most iconic luxury destinations in the world, including Yellowstone Club. Their work on the Powder Haven Lodge reimagines the mountain clubhouse not as a static structure, but as a living, breathing space shaped by nature, community, and creativity.
Rooted in the emerging New American Alpine identity, the lodge draws inspiration from the time-honored silhouettes of classic Swiss chalets while daring to break convention. The design unfolds in a double-crescent shape, a striking form influenced by the minimalist, sculptural expressions of artists like Ellsworth Kelly and Louise Bourgeois. The result is a lodge that’s at once architecturally bold and personally welcoming, a place where every line and curve echoes the natural beauty of the surrounding Wasatch.

But this is more than architecture. It’s a gathering place, a starting point, and a warm return. Whether you’re warming up during a powder day or gathering for an evening with friends, the lodge is designed to foster connection, reflect the spirit of the community, and offer a refined refuge in every season.
Powder Haven has always attracted a uniquely adventurous, big-hearted group of people—those who value wild beauty, rugged fun, and thoughtful design in equal measure. That independent spirit is shaping every detail of this project. The lodge will not only serve as a cornerstone of the community, but also help establish the foundational design guidelines for future phases, reinforcing our commitment to timeless architecture, environmental stewardship, and a deep sense of place.
As we look ahead to construction in 2025, we couldn’t be more excited to bring this vision to life, and to welcome you into a community that’s redefining what mountain living can be.
