Resort Opening Day: December 13th

The dream of uncrowded, seamless mountain living is very much alive, and it’s unfolding right here at Powder Haven. With 8 inches of snow already dusting the mountains in early October, and we’re more inspired than ever for the season ahead. Powder Mountain officially opens for the season on Friday, December 12th, with night skiing at Sundown kicking things off at 4:00 PM. Full daytime operations begin on Saturday, December 13 (weather and conditions permitting). Even better? Our brand-new high-speed detachable resident-only lift, Primetime, will be spinning on opening day. Primetime will give you access to expert terrain in Davenport with over 1,000 acres of runs on the northeast face of the mountain. 

The momentum continues from the slopes to the community. In our Prado Neighborhood, surveyors are staking lots amid groves of golden aspens, defining the boundaries of what will soon be cherished alpine retreats. Interest is surging, especially after Shelter Hill sold out completely, and it’s no surprise: these ski-in/ski-out homes will give our newest residents a chance to own a custom homesite ranging from three-quarters of an acre to five acres with year-long stunning views of Pineview, Snowbasin, and the Great Salt Lake.
