Resort Opening Day: December 13th, 2025

The dream of uncrowded, seamless mountain living is very much alive, and it’s unfolding right here at Powder Haven. With 8 inches of snow already dusting the mountains in early October, we’re more inspired than ever for the season ahead. 

Powder Mountain officially opens for the season on Friday, December 12th, with night skiing at Sundown chairlift starting at 4:00 PM local time. Full daytime operations begin on Saturday, December 13 (weather and conditions permitting.)

Debut of new high-speed lift for private members

This season marks a milestone: the brand-new high-speed detachable lift, Primetime, reserved exclusively for Powder Haven residents. Construction is on pace to have the new lift spinning early this season.

Primetime will give you access to expert terrain in Davenport with over 1,000 acres of runs on the northeast face of the mountain.

Fresh energy across the mountain community

The momentum continues from the slopes to the community. In our Prado neighborhood, surveyors are staking lots amid groves of golden aspens. These boundaries define what will soon be cherished alpine retreats. Each site offers a rare opportunity to build a custom retreat steps from lift access and trails.

Interest is surging after properties in our Shelter Hill neighborhood sold out. It’s no surprise: these ski-in/ski-out homes let our newest residents own a custom homesite with up to five acres and year-round stunning views of Pineview Reservoir, Wasatch Range, and the Great Salt Lake.
