Lodge Groundbreaking Marks New Chapter for Powder Haven

Four adults wearing hard hats and holding ceremonial shovels stand together at the Arclodge groundbreaking site on Powder Mountain, with alpine terrain visible in the background.

Earlier this month, our community gathered at the mountain’s peak to celebrate a milestone moment: the groundbreaking of Arclodge

Our future 73,000-square-foot clubhouse will be the heart of Powder Haven’s ski-in, ski-out residential community.

Community members gather under white umbrellas at the Arclodge groundbreaking site, talking and celebrating near construction equipment parked on the hillside.

Set to open for the 2027/28 ski season, Arclodge will be a year-round gathering place for wellness, dining, and alpine connection. Until then, members can continue to enjoy mountaintop dining and events at Skylodge or lakeside meals and activities at Landing.

Tours, talks, and reunion weekend

The ceremony coincided with our monthly Rendezvous Weekend where residents return and reconnect. More than seventy Powder Haven community members made the trek to the top of the mountain for a groundbreaking ceremony.

Together they explored the future site of Arclodge with guided tours, heard from community leaders, and signed and stamped a commemorative beam that will be built into the structure.

Designed for lasting, multi-generational memories

Groundbreaking on Arclodge marks the start of the most significant new amenity since our community’s founding. The new facility will serve generations of mountain families drawn to the 8,000+ acres of surrounding alpine terrain.

Designed in collaboration with award-winning firm Hart Howerton, the lodge will be a centerpiece for Powder Haven's residential community offering dining, wellness, and connection.

By investing in shared spaces like this, members help preserve what makes Powder Mountain so rare: its open slopes, quiet trails, and enduring independence.

People sit in Adirondack chairs on the deck of Skylodge during the September Reunion Weekend, talking and enjoying the late-afternoon light while others gather inside the lodge.

The celebration was as much about our shared past as our future; recalling the early days of Powder Haven and the vision that continues to unite us.

Arclodge will feature gathering spaces, spa and fitness amenities, and creative areas designed to foster connection and lifelong memories in every season.

Construction will begin soon. We look forward to sharing regular updates as the project takes shape.

Moments like this remind us that Powder Haven is more than a place to ski. It’s a place to belong. If you’re new and want to learn about becoming part of the Powder Haven community, explore our current residential offerings or reach out to request information about becoming a resident.
